A regular contributor to Stuff.tv and T3.com – creating engaging automotive and technology stories – feature writer at Metro for the weekly Connect tech section and published writer for the likes of Sunday Times Driving, The Sun on Sunday, Pocket-Lint and many more. Ideas generation for the likes of Toyota, Lexus, Bridgestone and Bentley, which includes planning, creating and delivering exciting multimedia content for blogs and social media accounts. Advertorial ideas and creation for Telegraph Spark, Redwood and eBay.

News Editor

Delivering a fresh mix of automotive news stories and features for AOL’s popular Cars channel on a daily basis. Overseeing a small team of writers, making sure copy is tight and entertaining as well ensuring hourly, daily and weekly deadlines are met.

Feb 2012 – Jan 2013 Sunday Times Driving, News International
Assistant Editor

Launching News International’s automotive website that combines bespoke features and news with the ability to search for and buy used cars. Responsibilities included bringing a new website to launch phase and beyond, establishing a new name within the automotive press and creating bespoke written and video work for the site.

Entertainment Editor

A fresh, exciting and tonal weekly entertainment section that saw the best game releases, films, albums and television shows reviewed in a light, approachable manner, which entertained and informed readers. An extensive contacts book was essential as was a nose for the hottest interviews and most exciting features. My passion for petrol also meant I edited ZOO Magazine’s weekly motoring pages.

Dec 2009 – Nov 2010 ShortList and Stylist Magazine
Creative Solutions Editor

Heading up the rapidly expanding Creative Solutions department at Shortlist Media. Duties ranged from brainstorming sessions, attending agency meetings, commissioning written work and writing bespoke advertorials. The role required a close working relationship with the art director and the editors of both ShortList and Stylist.

Deputy Editor

Part of the launch team at Dennis Publishing’s innovative digital magazine, it was my responsibility to discover the the funniest and most entertaining video content for a weekly Ceros product. The title acted as a brilliant launch pad for my career, as I formed many valuable contacts, discovered the power of video content and worked closely with the digital team.
