The Tokyo Motor Show tends to be the place to go if you’re on the hunt for really oddball concept vehicles but it feels like this Eastern sense of ‘blue sky thinking’ made its way to Europe for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Renault’s self-driving ‘robo-taxi’, an autonomous Volkswagen saloon with deep-pile carpets and Lagonda’s lavish vision of the future limousine provided the concept highlights, while wackier offerings in the shape of PAL-V’s flying car offered some light relief from the pounding dubstep music and throngs of eager motoring enthusiasts.
